It is a unique virtual number given to the clients by IndiaMART. When a buyer calls on this number all the numbers of the client registered with IndiaMART ring simultaneously and hence we ensure that a client does not miss any business call.

An SMS and Email will be sent on the primary mobile number and Email address of the client which is registered with IndiaMART, giving him the details of the caller number and the time of call. Also, if the client misses the PNS calls on regular basis his listing and presence on IndiaMART also gets affected.

When a buyer calls on this Preferred Number then whose number will be shown on the mobile phone/caller ID of the client?

The client will see an internal service number- 080-4299-4299 or 011-7199-7199 as per the PNS incoming number provided to the client. However, after the call is made both the client and the buyer will receive an SMS carrying the number of the other party.

Who is a PNS defaulter?

The customers who are consistently missing buyer calls are known as PNS Defaulters. If a customer is marked PNS defaulter it means that his listing is suppressed below paid customers on the IndiaMART platform.

A PNS defaulter count is the number of times a customer becomes a defaulter. For e.g., a customer who becomes a PNS Defaulter was removed later as a defaulter and then again he became a PNS defaulter, the count becomes 2.
