Buying Requirements are purchase requests posted online by buyers. Buying Requirements are an invitation from buyers to suppliers to send their quotes for supplying buyers with products they want.

How do I stop receiving emails for my Buying Requirement?

If your requirement is fulfilled or you just do not want to receive any further emails related to your requirement then you can login to my.IndiaMART.com account and close concerned your buy requirement.

Who are Recommended Suppliers?

Once you post the required product name and its specifications along with your preferences like location from where you want the suppliers, we match your requirement with the most capable suppliers to fulfill your requirement. Once the match is met, we recommend these suppliers to you.

How and when will my Buy Requirement go live?

The Buy Requirement posted by you will be displayed on IndiaMART.com after approval by the internal team. You may receive a call from one of our executives to confirm the details of your requirement.

Once the details in the buy requirement form are confirmed and verified it will go live. You can check the status of your requirement at my.IndiaMART.com in the Manage Buy Requirement section.

Why was my Buying Requirement not approved?

There can be two major reasons why your Buy Requirement was not approved;

  1. Another buy requirement with same or similar product name is already live at IndiaMART
  2. The product you are looking for is either in banned product category or needs license for trading.

How many quotations can I receive?

This will depend on a number of factors like how clear and complete is your product description and specification. Suppliers show more interest in detailed requirements. It also depends on how many suppliers are there in your required product category and location.
Many a times a quick call from your end to the supplier can also result in faster quotations.

How many Buying Requirements can I submit?

You can send multiple requirements for different products / services.
However, for any one product/ service only one Buy Requirement will be allowed.

If none of the suggested suppliers have called you so far, we request you to contact the suppliers on the numbers provided by us in your Email and SMS. I received quotation but the supplier did not contact me, what should I do?

We would recommend you to either connect with the suppliers via phone which just takes a few minutes, or you can drop an Email requesting further information or follow up course.

Suppliers those are interested in your requirement can check it on the IndiaMART portal and choose to contact you.

IndiaMART also alerts the relevant suppliers through Email and SMS as soon as your requirement gets approved.
