What is a Buy Requirement?

Buy Requirement, as the name suggests, is buyer’s product/service requirement, posted by him/her on IndiaMART platform. The objective of posting the buy requirement on IndiaMART is to find a relevant seller who can fulfill the buyer’s requirement.

You must share the maximum possible details of your product/service requirement so that the product details can be shared with your most suited sellers. Some of the things that you must mention are:

  • Order quantity
  • Location preference of sellers, if any
  • One-time requirement or repeat requirement
  • Application of the required product (i.e. end use or resale)
  • Nature of business (if not for end use)
  • Complete and correct contact details

    How can I as a seller, receive buy requirements from other buyers?

      Hello Sanjay,

      When buyers search for any product, they get a list of sellers who deals in that particular product. The ranking of sellers depends on the paid package they have & product score. Product score is based on how much details is given for that product.
      Buyer then clicks on contact seller depending on their requirement.

      If you are a free seller, you will get only buyer enquiries. But if you are a paid seller, you will get buyleads per week. i.e, you will get a list of buyers with their contact details who has requirement in which you deal.You can contact them & finalize your deal.
